WELCOME!
I am so glad you are here.
For as long as I can remember I have always been moving and shaking in some way. I cannot define this movement as Yoga, dance or gymnastics because it's always been a mismatch of everything intertwined, kinda like myself. From taking tap classes at the age of 5 to doing living room Yoga with my Aunt on a Friday eve to competing in professional street dance competitions at 14, movement has followed me throughout my life.
However, Yoga started to play a bigger part in my existence during my late teenage years as I grappled with common teen-angst but also the realisation of my sexuality. From there I found yoga to be a healing practice of rediscovering and loving my body, mind and soul.
Moving to Edinburgh I started attending studio classes and was always met with some burning internalised fears; “Am I feminine enough to practice this?" "Do I look silly in these legging’s?” "Does my short hair make me look masculine in this sports bar?". Undoubtedly these questions came from a place of fear around being somewhat different to others next to me on the mat.
I've spent the past 5 years living in Edinburgh meeting and chatting so many different human's and whenever I am asked what I do for a living, "I teach yoga!", I often get the same type of reply back- "oh god, I am so intimidated by yoga, I can't even touch my toes!".
SO after a shock redundancy and a re-look at how I want to present my teachings, I decided to take the leap into launching my own bullshit free, inclusive AF, FUN yoga classes that aim to teach you how to move, feel and live better without any preaching.
I believe that Yoga is for EVERY BODY and that this practice is very much on a spectrum of spiritually and movement and that you can slide back and forth as you please. I believe it is your choice to decide what movements feel good for you and how deep you dive into the background of Yoga. I believe that it is your choice to come onto your mat and it's very much your choice how you practice.
My mission is simply to guide and educate through intelligent, anatomical based yoga and from here, I believe, the rest will fall into place.
So please, come as you are Lulu's or pyjama’s and let's move, together.

You are so loved,
Adele
